ACSSS is a student-run organization founded in 1989. Our mission is to broaden the channels of communication between the Stanford mainland Chinese community and various other cultural, academic, and professional communities in the Bay Area. As the Stanford region and the most influential Chinese community organization, the Association of Chinese Students and Scholars at Stanford (ACSSS) currently has 6041 lifelong members, including 841 all Chinese current students. Each event will certainly receive the active participation and full investment of the Chinese communities in the bay area.
ACSSS is Stanford's largest non-for-profit student organization. In line with our efforts to publicize Chinese traditional culture, we are committed to increasing communication.and collision with other cultures. As a representative of Stanford's Chinese student group, ACSSS is also responsible for providing academic and employment related information for students in Stanford University. As a platform for communication and cooperation, we build a bridge of communication between schools and society through a series of distinguished scholars and entrepreneurs from various fields. Every year, ACSSS will also hold various kinds of student activities, such as freshman welcome, Spring Festival Gala and other large events. At the same time, we will send the new manuals and updated weekly newsletters to all members.
